Mixed media
8" x 6" x 1"
Ann-Marie Gillett is a mixed-media artist who uses an innovative hand-painted tape technique along with drawing, painting, and cyanotype printing to create images. Her work is inspired by the changes of nature she observes on her twelve-acre homestead. She exhibits and has won awards for her work in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and small museums throughout New England and New York.
The abundance of summer blooms was the inspiration for this collage made of hand-painted tape carefully cut with scissors and mounted on a boxed panel.
