Exquisite craftsmanship is required to create these unique pieces of art.
Using Madrone for the Sky, Limba for the Waterline, Yellow Maple for the Water, Maple and Rosewood for the Dragonfly, Silky Oak, Rosewood, Maple, Koa and other woods, the artist cut, shaved, shaped and pieced together this stunning image of a jumping trout and dragonfly, using the distinct colors and textures of the various woods to create the rich and stunning image. All of the woods -- and their sourcing -- are listed on the authentication tag on the back.
From the Hudson Valley Region of New York, where the artist lived and worked, this piece showcases nature in both the soaring glory of the eagle and in the very elements from which it is made.
