The owners also know an excellent French chef that can be reserved to come to the Gite and prepare and serve a 4-course meal at about €60 per person + wine. If you reserve in July or August, there are weekly night markets with food stalls and live music that are not to be missed.
Reviews of Petit Clos Rural Gîte
“Words can't describe the magic of this place! Our hosts Hank and Cindy were super attentive! They made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Once we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and snacks and rose. They gave us great recommendations and referred the best private chef for a countryside dinner al fresco!” - Michelle F.
“The combination of Cindy and Hank's hospitality partnered with a beautiful rural property was everything we could have hoped for as we spent a mid-May week at the Gite. Hank had opened up the pool for our use as the weather was favorable. A welcoming gift of wine and cheese awaited us as we walked into the kitchen for the first time. Carefully curated, Cindy's book of places to visit helped us to plan our stay in the area as we marveled at the work that had gone into renovating and caring for the property since they acquired it. So many lovely nearby villages and historic sites to see competed with the desire to simply appreciate their 50 acre bucolic and restorative country setting. Thanks again to our exceptional hosts!” - Jamie F.
“Petit Clos was a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Close to quaint French villages and markets. As well as wonderful places to eat and wineries to visit. Or you can spend a lovely day relaxing by the pool. The suite is beautifully furnished. Our hosts were charming and had many helpful suggestions to make our stay memorable!” - Cindy R.
