California Uncorked — Napa Valley & Beyond!
Join us for a class featuring outstanding wines from the most famous regions in California. We’ll sample a variety of red and white wines that have made Napa Valley, Sonoma, and more world-renowned.
 
Meeting Guidelines

Groups

Attendance
You must have a minimum of 10 people in attendance. (All attendees must be 21 or older)

Capacity
Varies by store. Attendees must not exceed the listed capacity.

Cleanup After Yourself
Room cleanup after the class is the responsibility of the group organizer.

Promotional Materials
Posting promotional materials in-store is not permitted. (i.e. business cards, flyers, coin cans, etc.)

Event Advertisement Restrictions
Event may not use Total Wine’s name in any manner that may have the potential to suggest or imply Total Wine’s endorsement, approval, support of, or opposition to the event or any person or cause associated with the event.

All advertising must include the following statement: “This event is open to all registered attendees without regard to gender, marital status, pregnancy, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status or other legally protected characteristic.” Total Wine reserves the right to cancel your event, with or without notice, for failure to include such statement in event advertising.

Prohibition on Charging/Selling Event Tickets
Total Wine & More does not allow the use of the classroom for personal or business financial benefit; this includes any charge for guests to attend the meeting or sales where money is exchanged for products or services.Timing

Schedule in Advance
Meetings must be scheduled at least 6 weeks in advance.

Black Out Dates

Blackout periods apply:

2 days prior to a major holiday

The weekend of a major holiday

During the last 6 weeks of the year

Room Access

Access and use of classroom is limited to the reserved time only.

Special State Requirements

Due to state regulations, we cannot host private classes in Colorado, South Carolina or Tennessee.Technology

Internet access (to safe web browsing sites) to access user-supplied content

Public Wi-Fi access is available in all locations. If system is down or slow, Total Wine & More is not responsible. Food & Drink

Outside Food & Drink

Outside food/catering and coffee may be brought into the classroom (where allowed by law)*. Additional water and soft drinks can be purchased on-site.

Pour Size
Amounts vary by state law, but will never exceed 2 oz.

Bring Your Own Supplies
Supplies such as table cloths, plates, forks, etc. are not provided.

No Self-Pouring
Wines will be poured by a Total Wine & More team member only.

No Additional Alcohol Permitted
Products purchased outside of your private class cannot be opened in the classroom.

Spirits
Spirits will not be offered or poured. Classroom Code of Conduct

Total Wine expressly prohibits the following conduct on its premises and associated with any classroom event. Total Wine will immediately terminate an active event or cancel a scheduled event if the event sponsor or attendees engage in such conduct:

Tasting or sampling of alcohol in an irresponsible manner.

Harassment and discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, personal appearance, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability or perceived disability (physical or mental), family responsibilities, political affiliation, or any other legally protected characteristic.

Lewd, derogatory, harassing bullying, intimidating, disparaging or otherwise offensive speech or conduct.

Speech or conduct that disrupt store operations or the event.

Destruction or vandalizing of property, event site or materials.

Violence or threat of violence.

Possession of a weapon or any item that can be used as a weapon.

Conduct that tarnishes or threatens to tarnish the reputation or good will of the Total Wine brand.

Knowingly and falsely reporting violations of these requirements/

Retaliating against another participant for reporting a violation of these requirements.

Item Special Note

Shipping and Handling Policy

All orders incur a $3.00 shipping and handling fee, which will be added to your total at the end of the auction. Gift certificates will be sent via USPS or email as applicable.

For Auction Winners:

To Have Items Mailed: Email susie@tbwh.org within seven days of the auction closing. Shipping costs will be at your expense.

To Pick Up Items: Contact us within seven days of the auction closing to arrange pickup. If we do not hear from you, we will automatically ship your item.

Shipping and Pickup for Larger Items

Pickup Options: Larger items can be picked up in Seaside, CA.

Shipping Costs: If you choose to have larger items shipped, the costs are as follows:

$15 for large envelopes
$32 for medium boxes
$44 for large boxes
 

Some items may not fit these categories, and you will be notified of any additional shipping costs. We will use the smallest package size possible to minimize shipping fees.

Shipping Insurance: We will insure packages during shipping. However, Teddy Bears with Heart is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
