Own an ice hockey puck SIGNED, by Barclay Goodrow of the San Jose Sharks!
The San Jose Sharks is a professional ice hockey team based in San Jose, California. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.
Goodrow played a key supporting role for the Tampa Bay Lightning in their run to the Stanley Cup championship in 2020. He scored six points (one goal, five assists) and was plus-5 in 25 postseason games, but one of his assists came on Anthony Cirelli's series-clinching overtime goal against the New York Islanders in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final.
The San Jose Sharks signed Goodrow, an undrafted forward, on March 6, 2014, after he led North Bay of the Ontario Hockey League with 67 points (33 goals, 34 assists) in 63 games, including a league-leading seven shorthanded goals.
After beginning the 2014-15 season with Worcester in the American Hockey League, Goodrow made his NHL debut in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 30, 2014. He scored his first NHL goal in a 5-2 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Dec. 9 and finished the season with 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 60 games.
Goodrow played most of the following two seasons with San Jose in the AHL, where he scored 84 points (45 goals, 39 assists) in 118 games. In 2017-18, he played the entire season with the Sharks, finishing with 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 47 games and leading San Jose in face-off percentage (58.8) among forwards with at least 250 attempts.
In 2018-19, Goodrow played all 82 games for the Sharks, scoring seven goals and finishing with 17 points. He scored the overtime goal in Game 7 of the 2019 Western Conference First Round to defeat the Vegas Golden Knights, completing a rally from down 3-1 in the best-of-7 series and trailing 3-0 in the third period of the deciding game. He scored eight goals and 24 points in 62 games for the Sharks in 2019-20 before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 24, 2020.
Goodrow won his second straight Stanley Cup championship with the Lightning in 2020-21, scoring 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) in 55 regular-season games and six points (two goals, four assists) in 18 playoff games.
He was then traded to the New York Rangers for a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft on July 17. Five days later, he signed a six-year contract with New York, and again excelled in the playoffs by scoring in overtime to defeat the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of the 2024 Eastern Conference Final.
Goodrow returned to where his NHL career began when the Sharks claimed him off waivers from the Rangers on June 19, 2024.
