If you’re looking for a classic Sonoma wine tasting with a twist, the Gundlach Bundschu Rhinefarm Tasting is for you. Kick back on our winery courtyard or in our historic barrel room as our engaging hosts guide you through a memorable flight of five wines. This lot includes a tasting for four people, adults 21+. Kids and pets are welcome at no additional charge.

ABOUT THE WINERY

Our 165-year-old property is located at the crossroads of the Sonoma Valley, Carneros and Napa Valley appellations. We invite you to visit for a wine tasting, seasonal bites, vineyard tour or live music and experience our laid-back Sonoma vibe.

For six generations and over 160 years, the Bundschu family has farmed the Rhinefarm estate vineyard at the crossroads of the Sonoma Valley, Carneros and Napa Valley appellations. Today, we focus on making small lots of ultra-premium wines from this distinctive and historic property. Enjoy exploring us and our wines on our website or by simply pulling a cork.

ABOUT OUR TASTINGS

The stuff worth experiencing happens off the beaten path. Off the beaten path is where it is real. No place embodies this more than Sonoma. And no one has been doing it longer or with more zeal than Gundlach Bundschu.

Named one of Travel + Leisure’s best wineries in Sonoma, Rhinefarm Estate has been owned, farmed and operated by our family since 1858. Our winery is known for our warm people, our cool climate, and our creative spirit. We make approachable, unpretentious wines of outstanding quality. Come on over and visit us for a wine tasting, vineyard experience or live music to get to know our laid-back Sonoma vibe.

We are open every day 11am – 4:30pm for tours and tastings, with the last reservation at 3pm. Reservations are encouraged, especially on the weekends. If you prefer to walk-in, we recommend stopping by on a weekday for your best chance for a seated tasting. Our property is family and dog friendly.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 7, 2025, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and the purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 11, 2025, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. The purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 10 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
