This beautiful bowl was created from wood recovered from trees on the Baldwin Home Museum property. The trees were damaged beyond rescue by the 2023 Lahaina Wildfire and had to be removed for health and safety.

Created by Emiliano Achaval, a wood lathe artist located in Maui, Hawaii.

Emiliano was voted as first President of The Maui Woodturners Association. He is known for his Maui Koa bowls.
