I recently leased an F150 Lightning from Maplecrest Ford of Mendham, and I have to say, it was a surprisingly positive experience. For the past 9 years, I've negotiated leases exclusively through online channels and have helped friends and family do the same. But on a whim, I decided to visit a local dealership in-person this time. My first observation was that this dealership does not have a large or expansive presence like most others in NJ; they emit more of a mom-and-pop shop vibe that prioritizes quality over volume. Here, I worked closely with James Skuraton, who I found to be a clearly seasoned professional with a wealth of knowledge about Ford vehicles.
It was clear from the start that James wasn’t just trying to sell me a car—he was genuinely interested in helping me find the right vehicle for my needs. I mention this because my car history has traditionally focused on German sport sedans, and yet, James helped me conclude that the right vehicle for me as a newly-minted father should be balanced - something exceedingly practical, safe, and spacious, while still offering the occasional neck-snapping acceleration that my soul desires.
As impressive as it was that James somehow sold a truck to a sport sedan enthusiast, it's worth noting that he didn’t pressure me or rush me through decisions, which made a huge difference. He was generous with pricing discounts and transparent with current Ford incentives, plus he gave me the space that I needed to arrive at my own decision. I would go as far as stating that James and Maplecrest Ford of Mendham provide their customers with an experience that is consistent with luxury car dealerships. Their process was straightforward, the staff as a whole was friendly, and they operated in a manner that prioritizes the customer experience.
In the end, I’m quite happy with my first-ever truck, and I’m glad I stumbled upon James. I highly recommend Maplecrest Ford of Mendham if you’re looking for a dealership where you can get solid advice and find a good deal without the hassle of spending hours and days negotiating, and most importantly, I’d definitely recommend asking for James if given the opportunity.

My experience at Maplecrest Ford Mendham is how everyone should be treated at a car dealership. I am not the easiest customer either.
A few weeks ago I met Olivia DeMattio sales expert.
She found the truck I wanted with all of the options I needed. It wasn’t easy and Olivia handled my questions and specifics like I was a family member.
Finance and the service desk are outstanding. Service installed the front license plate bracket mount and they did it in a few minutes without an appointment.

My experience at Maplecrest Ford Mendham is how everyone should be treated at a car dealership. I am not the easiest customer either.
A few weeks ago I met Olivia DeMattio sales expert.
She found the truck I wanted with all of the options I needed. It wasn’t easy and Olivia handled my questions and specifics like I was a family member.
Finance and the service desk are outstanding. Service installed the front license plate bracket mount and they did it in a few minutes without an appointment.

I needed a new truck to fit two car seats as quickly as possible because baby #2 was on the way. I called Olivia and she told me to come right in because she had some options she thought could work. As soon as I arrived she pulled out a Brand New Space White Explorer that was everything I could have possibly wanted. It was like magic. I am so grateful to a have a wonderful new truck for both of my boys! Not only did she sell me the ruck but she set up a service appointment for my new Maverick and called Pasquale over from the service department to assist with transferring my toddler’s car seat.
